Soylent Green Is People!
I've noticed that my music tastes have been mellowing. I still love rock like 12 Stones and stuff, but I'm beginning to like the softer stuff more too.
When I wear my one sandals to work, the big toe on my left looses feeling. The sandals must be pinching a nerve or something. Speaking of work, I was complemented on my arranging and organizational skills yesterday. Work is all that goes on in my life anymore. It's pathetic.
Well then... I watched AFI's Top 100 Movie Quotes last night. It was interesting to see what quotes I had seen in the moveis and which quotes I knew when I had never even heard of the movie. For example, I finished the quote from Cool Hand Luke before the tv guys did when I didn't even know that the movie existed: "What we've got here is failure to communicate". Then there was "You can't handle the truth!" and "Well, here's another nice mess you've gotten me into!"... all wonderful quotes. I'm a quote fanatic. "Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!" was one of my favorites.
Cedar Point. We need to schedule a trip to Cedar Point. Definitely.
Last night I went outside around 10:30 because I remembered that my car windows were open. The first thing I noticed was the rustling of the trees' leaves in the wind. The western horizon was still a dull shade of orange, the sky was a dark, dark blue with scattered stars, and the full moon in the south illuminated everything in its alluring yet eerie white glow. It was very picturesque... really beautiful.
Today was blah. It just wasn't my day. I kept dropping stuff at work and the invoice was all messed up. But my hair is soft... not that that has anything to do with anything. I like my hair color and I like that my eyes are quite a bit darker than my hair. It seems like it would be boring to have the exact same color of hair and eyes. ...And for some reason I've been spelling weird things correctly lately.

Hahaha... like those whiners would ever agree to stopping at Cedar Point after Columbus.
I think that if we can't work it out with Norma, we should just drive down one night, pitch in for one or two cheap hotel rooms, spend the whole next day at Cedar Point, and then drive home that night. I could definitely be one to drive back in the middle of the night; I'm known for my ability to stay awake when others can't or are just too lazy. Actually, I would prefer the second option, but that's just me.
