Nostalgia
My dad is nuts... and they say I have a temper. I've always said to them, "Well, who do you think I got it from? Have you taken a look at Dad lately... ever?" But both mother and father, especially father, deny it. To make a long, pointless story short, we got into a dispute yesterday evening and he was being completely irrational and overly stubborn. There was quite a bit of voice raising on his side. I, on the other hand, did not yell, but simply stated my position strongly. He's a grumpy old man.
I had many weird dreams a couple nights ago. One had Mr. Smith in it. It was something like Vanessa and I were in Smith's advanced bio but at UM instead of AGS and we were doing something with fish. I remember wondering why Smith was at UM when he had graduated from MSU. And then there was something about Smith collecting poker chips off of the streets... I don't know.
Ross made my day yesterday with the small bag filled with McDonalds sauces and then also when he said that he was taking AP calc. Hopefully that will all work out just dandy.
Chloe had her kittens. There's about six of them and they're really tiny and cute.
I've been playing Spider Solitaire so much that last night I would see stacks of cards everytime I would close my eyes.
I went to graduation tonight. It was long and, at times, boring, but it was still worth going. I had to see my three favorite seniors graduate, of course. It was nice... I got to see most everyone I wanted to see.
A nice little fact about UM:
"In 1966, the University of Michigan's Computing Center formed the Merit Network to interconnect three universities — the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and Wayne State University — and this was the beginning of the Internet. From 1987–1995, Merit managed the NSFNET backbone, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), which in the 1990s became known as the 'Internet.'"
