Oh, The Frustrations

I was on MSN Messenger and this person who added me a while ago started talking to me.... in French. Ok, not a big deal. I tried to tell her that I don't speak French, but she didn't seem to get it. So I went on Google translator and translated "I do not speak French" into French and sent that to her, and then I think she typed back that I was insane. I don't know exactly what she typed because it was STILL IN FRENCH and she doesn't type accurately enough for me to translate it on Google. ...And ten minutes later it was still going on. She just didin't seem to get it. Then I think she called me a whore and so I blocked her. This type of thing actually isn't too weird for me; I frequently get confused with some Jewish school-teacher from Quebec who has my same name and a similar email address. Seriously.

Posting pictures to this crazy blog is harder than taking the derivative of a parametric function. Or at least that's the way it is for me. Sheesh. Alecia has done it before and Ben used to do it constantly... but can I figure it out? No, of course not. I managed to post a picture as its own post (by the way, this is the first time I've used the possessive of "it" in a very very long time), but I can't figure out how to put it within a post that has writing or even how to post multiple pictures at once. Arg.

Edit: After I posted this, I had a little breakthrough. Even so, I will have to do things the long way around because I still don't know how to do it directly. I really do live up to the name/address of this blog.

Hi, Sarah. Yes, I am having moderate fun at camp. Thanks.

The picture thing isn't too hard. What you do is find a place to host the picture. I think you may have already done that seeing as how you have a picture of Ryan. A site I suggest is www.photobucket.com. It's an easy place, but it might take a while to upload a picture with dial-up. Now, when you have a picture you want to use in your blog, you right click on the picture, and go to Properties. Assuming you have Internet Explorer, there should be some stuff that says "Protocol", "Type", et cetera. What you want is the Address. Copy and paste that, but make sure to get all of it; sometimes it's too long and you have to keep highlighting down until you get all of it. Right, now you have your picture. Now to put it in the post, you have to put in the appropriate code for it to show up. That code is: < src img="(whatever)" >. Only put the spaces between "src" and "img"; it won't let me post this comment with it all together. So make sure you make the "< and >" aren't spaced away from the code thingy. Now paste the address of the picture into the spot that says (whatever). Oh, when you paste the address, use Ctrl+V, if you right click on your post, it goes really stupid. So, that's it. I suggest memorizing that code, it's really helpful.

I hope it posts all of that. See ya.
