"It's just a simple stitch."
It takes me at least an hour to fall asleep almost every night. That gets annoying. Other things get annoying too... certain people, certain circumstances, life in general, whatever. But anyway, last night it took me 3 hours to fall asleep. More details on that later in the post.
My kitties are really really cute. Two of them fell asleep on my lap a couple nights ago. It was adorable. But I don't want to sound like BethAnne, so I won't go on and on and on about them. ;)
I'm a bit sunburned. It's not bad and I kind of enjoy it. I'll need to tan some more while it's nice.
These past couple days have been very full. Yesterday I went to the band party with Vanessa and DJ. Yes, it was quite fun. Graduates (and Isaiah because he's cool like that) against measly little high school students in ultimate frisbee was great. All in all it was a marvelous time. Mrs. Gordon rocks! After the band party was Ben's bonfire. That was a blast. There were a bunch of little people there but it was still cool. Then after that, DJ, Vanessa, and I played some hot DDR at DJ's house. On one song, I got a B and freaked out. Andy even joined in a little. On the way home, lightning in the west silhouetted the distant clouds against the dark, pure, moonless, star-filled sky. I got home around 2 a.m. and went to bed, but for some reason I could not get to sleep. I ended up falling asleep around 5 a.m., right after the rain started.
After 5 hours of sleep, I woke up and went with Ross and Vanessa to Standish so Ross could get his hair cut. It was nice to be with friends. Afterwards, on my way to work, a big bloody bug splattered all over my windshield and so I did the windshield washer thing, not remembering that my window was open. As streams of windshield wiper fluid were flying into my face I realized my stupidness and closed my window. Then as I was getting out a wipey thing to clean up, an idiot in a big red farm truck pulled right out in front of me. This drive was not going well and I was ticked. I went to pass him but then he started swerving all over the road and, after he almost ran me into the ditch, I pounded on my car's horn (the first time I ever really used it, I think). Finally he decided to check his mirrors, watch what he was doing, and quit being a flaming imbecile. I discovered another flaming imbecile later that night, but I won't get into his moronic actions. I got off of work early and then went to Ryan's where BethAnne, Hannah, and Isaiah were. We began to watch a stupid movie but gave up and went to Tawas instead. KFC, DQ, and Walmart were on the night's intinerary and they all proved to be entertaining. I found Das Boot on DVD at Walmart and I was psyched. The ride home was also a hoot... I'll have to find out exactly what CD was playing because I thoroughly enjoyed the music. It was almost exactly the type of music I love.
