Another Week Gone By
On Wednesday, Nidhal went to a friend's house. Yes, that's right, Nidhal made a friend. We went to the mall again on Wednesday and found a suit for Nidhal. He likes it a lot and it looks really good on him. Then we went back Thursday and bought some new clothes for him. Friday was a holiday (the day after Ramadan) and he needed some nice clothes for it. Between eating like an American, dressing like an American, and watching American TV, it's hard to tell he's from a foreign country. ...Except for when he speaks, but that's cute and we're working on it.
I got my French test back on Friday. It was an A (79/81). I was quite pleased. German was as annoying as ever and Linguistics was a bit boring.
Nidhal and I went to Cedar Point yesterday. I bought and printed the tickets on the internet. I don't know what we'll do for the rest of fall break. I wanted to do something good or exciting for him, but I just have no idea. Cedar Point was really fun though, despite the fact that it was packed, completely packed. Nidhal was a bit frightened before and on all of the rides, but he really enjoyed it. You should have seen the video of him from the Raptor.
Today we're going to relax. I like relaxing.

Awesome, you went to Cedar Point!! Have you ever seen the pic of me and Ross on Top Thrill Dragster? I'll have to try and find it. We went to CMU yesterday for the CMU vs. Army game, CMU won 47-23. There's some pics from there on MySpace if you want to look...we got to see Ross and Ben while we were there, it was AWESOME!
You could go to the Henry Ford Museum, or perhaps down to Cabella's in Dundee. I love going to that store, they even have a little cafe inside...the bear sculpture out in front is really cool too. Just a couple of ideas.
