Time To Complain

Nidhal made couscous Monday night and it was really good. Mmm.

I have so much stupid work to do. And my spacebar doesn't work correctly anymore.

I'm tired.

In my German conversation class, I get quite annoyed. They've all been to Germany either in high school or in college for some program or something, and it's like now they can't come up with an original comment or answer. It's always 'in Germany', 'when I was in Germany', 'I did/they have/I saw X in Germany'. They are like washed-up (or washed-out... I'm not sure what the correct term is) old war veterans who spend they're time retelling worn out stories from their tours of duty. And every second they're trying to best someone else. I don't like it. We were all there at one point or anther. We get it. Get over it. The one kid is a freshman and he's espcially annoying with this, but he's also just annoying in general.

My other German class annoys me too. First of all, the grammer that we've done is dumb. I've learned it already, and sure it's good to see it again, to get a refresher, but it's like most of them have never seen it. And now she wants to do even more of such stuff because they're so bad at it. Secondly, there is someone in the class who uses a word that I absolutely despise: also (you say it 'all-zoe' in German and it's kind of like 'therefore'). It's like she can't utter a sentence without throwing a few in. Everytime she opens her mouth, it's the first thing she says. This kind of usage was cited by Mark Twain as an annoying thing that Germans do, but Germans don't actually do that. So it's as though she's trying to be German but failing miserably and just making a fool of herself and annoying people (me).

Nidhal dumped water on me today and I was not pleased with that. But he's cute, so I'll forgive him.

The weather is nice... warm... sunny. It's true.

The apartment is cluttered. There are a ton of empty boxes and stuff left over from moving-in in the living room and they've been there for a month. I'm sick of it. And there are other boxes with random, pointless stuff in them. And there are shelves, but all the shelves were full by the time Jenny and I moved in. LAME. I'm not overly pleased with the situation. And there are random paper plates everywhere. At least I try to clean up after myself.

First of all Sarah, take a DEEP breath!!! Next...if the boxes belong to the roomies, couldn't you just kinda push them into their room? I'm willing to send you a nice roll of red duct tape so that you can, unmistakeably, section of a portion of shelving space for yourself and Jenny...just a though ;)You're a far better person, I think I would be having a hissy fit by now!
Please say hello to Nidahl for me.
Talk to you soon.
