You'd think a public library would be a haven in this heat wave.  But no.  I went to one near our house last week and walking in was no relief at all.  In fact, after being in there a few minutes, walking back out into the 100 degree heat felt like a relief.  No joke.  I think it was slightly cooler inside but way more humid, and outside, at least there was a breeze.  I am so so so happy and thankful that we have central A/C in our house.  We have had it set at 80 degrees, but it's comfortable and it still felt like we were walking into a fridge when we come in from outside.  The hubs even napped in the basement one day, which is always a few degrees cooler than the main floor (and the main floor is always a few degrees cooler than the top floor).  I'm glad the temperature is back to normal.


So today was a stressful day.  All I want to do it watch The Sound of Music.  For whatever reason, it seems like watching that movie would take away my stress.  This week is just going to be a stressful week.
