Je n'aime pas que...

Christmas has been over for a long time, but the Christmas tree is still up in our apartment. We just haven't gotten around to taking it down yet.

I'm healing. We're healing. The usual.

The weekend is nice. There are no expectations on the weekend.

We spent last week at my parents. On Wednesday, Nidhal was a guest speaker in a class at Alpena Community College. From what I hear, he did very well. And I heard that another instructor wants him to come to her class too. Nidhal had a very good time with Dan and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Steph and Anna. Anna is, as ever, adorable.

I'm reading The Lord of the Rings again. I had read The Hobbit last week for the first time in a long time. And then, of course, I had to keep reading. Call me a nerd but I just love those books. Now I just need to get Nidhal to watch The Lord of the Rings with me. He doesn't like fantasy or science fiction, which is rough for me because I enjoy both of them. He prefers action and such. Eight to ten years ago, action was my favorite genre. But not anymore. (And how weird is it that eight years ago, I was 15?!?!?!)
