A Boring Update

I went to the dentist today, and I now remember why I postponed this for at least five years.  Ugh, not pleasant.  Scraping and poking and digging and gagging and choking... all in all, a very fun time.  And not cheap either.  With dental insurance, it was almost $90.  I guess if it had just been the normal cleaning, it would've been free.  But no.  It was not normal.  I have to admit, my teeth feel better, but I still kind of regret going.

Yes, my dentist appointment is the exciting news of the month.  Maybe exciting is too strong of a word.  Noteworthy.  Still too strong?  How about the only gosh-darn thing I have to talk about.  Yeah, that's about right.  I could mention all the other appointments we've had (or will have): pediatrician, optometrist, allergist, regular doctor, blah, blah, blah.  But that would be boring, wouldn't it?  Well, regarding the eye appointment, I was able to get new glasses.  Again, insurance didn't cover as much as I'd hoped, but I got out with an exam, new lenses, and new frames for around $150.  So I guess it was exciting, at least for me, to get new glasses.

Baby girl is doing well.  She's still adorable, of course. :)  She smiles, laughs a little, coos, flails her arms and legs, farts, burps, spits up, and occasionally cries.  Generally, she does all the things that all babies do.  But to Mommy and Daddy, she's the best baby ever!
