Meme Pas Fatigué
As I've said before, Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit for my iPod were the best $10 I spent in preparation for my Tunisian vacation. Now back in Ypsi, Netflix is the best $10 per month I ever imagined. I did indeed get my first DVD within one day of it being sent. And I love the movies on the internet. The selection is big enough for me to find many that I'd like to watch. The only disadvantage is that there are times when the movie stops because the internet has supposedly become slower. But even then I only have to reload the page, and sometimes it doesn't happen. Oh Netflix, I love you.
We are back in the US, safe and sound. The hecticness and stress of life started almost immediately upon our return. With absolutely no money and little food, we arrived in Ann Arbor. We managed to survive on garden vegetables and pasta and one tank of gas until my financial aid was deposited into the account. Nidhal is taking a class at WCC this fall. He is also playing soccer one or two times a week, and he has soccer practice four times a week. On top of that, he got a job (not a good one, but a job nevertheless), and he has his sights set on another job or two. Needless to say, we will have a busy busy busy semester.
I love cats, as if that weren't obvious.
My semester is going well, I suppose. The practicum tends to freak me out, but both days of it so far have gone well. The professor is very nice and the students seem to like me. I tend to leave the class excited and then by the time the sun sets, dread has set in. Oh well. My other class, the seminar, starts tomorrow. Fun stuff.
