One or the Other
So I was sitting on the couch watching the Olympics in the first week... it was the men's figure skating finals thing... and I was watching the only American with any hope of a medal, Evan Lysacek... and right when he was doing a big jump that the commentators were saying he had to land, right when he was about to land, the screen went black. A test of the emergency broadcast system. NICE. Oh, I was mad. I'm not that big into figure skating (snowboarding, skiing, speed skating is more my thing), but I got into it on Tuesday and so I wanted to see the finals.
This past week was spring break. Nidhal and I spent some of it home at my parents' house. Like always, it was nice to hear silence instead of the never-ending cars and sirens and people yelling and awful music. And now I should be working on my homework for this coming week, but I am completely not motivated.
Nidhal and I saw Shutter Island last night. I liked it, but Nidhal was upset about the ending. He didn't want to believe the plot twist.
I absolutely can not wait until summer. I'm so sick of this program, mainly because the people running it are either arrogant or incompetent. Seriously. I'm so frustrated with one of my classes. Hardly anything is being taught (which is usual for that professor) and then I'm being penalized because I have no teacing experience. So MAD.
