Two paths converged in the Arb...

Reading, computer, watching DVDs... I can't say I'm getting much done. Meh.

I went for a walk in the Arb today and it was quite satisfying. The small paths through woods are my favorites because they are more secluded and more like hiking instead of walking down a street. It was an absolutely beautiful day, and as I was walking these out of the way paths, I noticed a smell. It wasn't a bad smell but a wonderful smell, as though someone had gone through the woods and sprayed Bath & Body Works bodyspray or was burning scented candles. The air itself was fragrant. I didn't have to stop and smell the flowers, I could smell them as I walked. It was perfect.

There was, of course, a not so good smell also. I was on one of these paths headed down a hill when I caught a whiff of skunk. Lovely. I decided that it would be better to retrace my steps and stay away from the smell of skunk than to risk meeting up with one. Although I believe that once a skunk sprays, it can't spray again right away. But still... who wants to walk in the direction of a skunk?

I love my new computer. It is simply wonderful. I can do things on this computer that I could only dream about with my other one... and some things that never entered my mind in my wildest dreams. It is liberating.

Apparently my parents are having a graduation party for me next Sunday. Come one, come all. It won't be very exciting. ...But you'll get to see me!
