Salt in the Wound

My academic year in Freiburg is half completed as of the end of today. As the title says, it's like throwing salt in the wound or adding insult to injury. After all, we all know that today, single awareness day, isn't a very pleasant one. I did get a rose though.

I had a final test today and it wasn't overly wonderful. But afterwards, I got a paper back and she gave me an A+. She had written 'einfach toll', which is 'simply great'. I was pleased. It gave me a little bit of an accomplishment high.
