The Rare Valid Point

What do you get when you haven't played a trumpet in one year, weren't that good to begin with, and are put in front of music you've never seen with no one else in your section? Yes, that's right, you'd have me yesterday morning... sucking. Actually, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be and it was fun on top of that.

Afterwards, I got to hang out with Ben AND I got to play Super Mario 64. I haven't played that in years... not since Vanessa beat it. I had totally forgotten about the cute lost baby penguin (which Christen and Dominic made fun of) and the slides and everything. Then we had lunch at Dunleavy's which was followed by an exploration of the world of music and the internet. But then Ben had to go to work, so Lyne and I ventured into the land of Rockapella.

Time sure does fly. I was sitting here playing games and then I looked at the clock and it was almost midnight. Perhaps I will go to bed soon. On the other hand, there are so many games to play and movies to watch and books to read.
