My chair has leaning-back capabilities.

Yesterday in my German class I met a girl who was from Big Rapids. I told her that my sister's husband was also from Big Rapids. She asked what his name was. I said Dan Tuuri. Then she said that her sister was friends with one of his sisters and that her brother was friends with Dan. Small world.

Calc was boring today and my Great Books discussion wasn't fun either. German was fine... the professor/teacher/GSI/whatever-she-is reminds me of my aunt Kathee.

Last night I went to a Campus Crusade for Christ thing that was in "the underground" in South Quad. There were a lot of people there and some of them I had met before, such as Dan and Callie. It was fun and I met some more really nice people.

Speaking of Dan (in the last paragraph), I had first met him in the honors discussion of Faster on Friday and then I met him again last night. Then today when I walked into calc, he was sitting in the front row. I was like, "Wow, I didn't realize he was in this class." Turns out that he had just switched into there from Math 115 (normal calc 1). So I went to lunch and sat by my lonesome for a grand total of about 2 minutes. Dan came and sat with me and a little bit later Steph came to our table. We were talking about our calc class and Dan said somethng like, "I sat next to the guy who was a little too overqualified for that class." I laughed because it was the same guy who I thought was an annoying know-it-all in that class yesterday. He was no less annoying today. And, actually, it was annoying guy's third time in a calc 1 class. Someone should kick him out.

But now, I get no more fun until I finish reading 60-some pages of The Iliad.
