It turns out that exacerbate and exasperate are incredibly close in pronunciation and somewhat related in meaning. I was thinking that I was "exasperated" but I wasn't sure if it was a word. I knew "exacerbate" was a word and that "aspirate" and thought that maybe I was just getting the word wrong, mixing the two words up, etc. BUT thanks to dictionary.com, I now know that I was correct in thinking that I was exasperated. Oh, the things I find interesting, eh?
