We finally planted our garden. Flowers and melons and peppers. We have twelve pepper plants: four jalapeno, four Hungarian yellow peppers, and four Anaheim peppers. And then there's the two honeydew plants. I don't know if they'll do anything, but they look nice. It's all just lovely. We did some flower pots, too. Everything has been in the ground for almost two weeks now and it's all still alive!
Today is such a dreary day. It makes me not want to do anything. I should clean the house, but the cool, dark weather has sucked out all my energy. All I want to do is read or watch a movie, but I don't want to read just any book for watch just any movie. I want to read/watch one that I know and love. I'm still in the middle of the fourth Harry Potter book in German (because it was interrupted by Hunger Games and Storm of Swords from the library), but reading in German takes some effort, and like I said before, I have no energy. And I have even less energy than I did this morning because my job called and asked if I would be free on Monday to teach a class. Yes, I have a four day weekend right now and, yes, it has spoiled me. But despite the loss of some of my laziness time, I am looking forward to the class on Monday. Anyway, I have no energy.
Pottermore is a nice boredom activity for the numb brain. Pottermore dueling, that is. Did I mention that I'm a Slytherin? It was surprising, but I can see it. The people on Pottermore are kind of weird. Yes, let's role play Harry Potter all day! Or not. I just go there because of my competitive nature. I want my team to win.
Groupon is fun to look at. How about a Jamaican vacation for two for only $1300 (plane tickets, hotel on the beach for 4 nights, and breakfast)? I'd take it. Maybe Jamaica is back on the list of possible travel destinations in the near future.
Ooo, ooo! I just saw that the third season of Without A Trace has finally been released! However, it costs $45, which means I could still get it $15 cheaper from Amazon.de, shipped from Germany, including the international shipping and the Euro/Dollar exchange rate. The only downside to getting it from Germany is that I do not yet have a region free DVD player (just the portable one that only works sometimes anymore and also the computers). But a plus to getting it from Germany would be that I could watch it in German!
