Roller Coasters and Spring

Commercials that are so annoying that I am forced to mute the TV really can not be an effective marketing strategy.  Nationwide's current commercial campaign is an example.  I hate these commercials and if I need to buy insurance and I am presented with the choice between Nationwide and another company that has a similar product but is slightly more expensive, I would go with the other company.  Verizon's idiot blubbering commercial is awful, too.  How could they think that people would enjoy listening to two people crying and wailing?  Stupid stupid stupid.

I went to Cedar Point last Saturday with a friend.  It was exhausting but definitely worth it.  The order of events was Raptor, Maverick, Mean Streak, Gemini, Magnum, Dragster, Power Tower down, lunch, Iron Dragon, Millennium Force, Mean Streak, water break and train, Raptor, Blue Streak, Cadillac Cars, bumper cars (Dodgem), Corkscrew, ring toss, Magnum, Maverick, Millennium Force, first aid station, Wicked Twister, Wind Seeker, bumper cars, Iron Dragon, Rapter, and Dippin' Dots.  Twelve hours, four blisters, seven bandaids, and one headache later, I was on my way back to my warm, comfortable bed after an absolutely exhausting and exciting day.  The next day, I could barely walk, and the blisters are still going strong almost a week later.  I want to go back.

Spring has come and is quickly turning into summer, and I have not yet planted my flowers.  I have some seeds to plant and we plan to buy some flowers from a nursery along with some pepper plants, a squash plant, and a melon plant.
