Almost Done

Thanksgiving in Indiana was fun. I just wish we had more time. It was great to see my wonderful cousins again!

I watched New Moon and Eclipse this weekend because I finally got the opportunity to watch them for free. Never would I pay to watch those movies. I know I've said this before, but the girl that plays Bella can not act. Seriously. I have never seen anyone so devoid of emotion and natural human behavior. Even the vampires act more human than she does.

I'm sitting here spying on the other ESLN 515 class. I think I like ours (the one that I help teach) more.

I got a DVD in the mail and was mildly excited to see a coupon on the back for $2 off another DVD. After closer inspection, however, it became clear that I was not going to use this coupon. Why, you ask? Well, it is a simple matter of the coupon expiring four years ago. Yes, the expiration date for this coupon inside the unwrapped DVD was December 31, 2006.

My Christmas season began in September. I started my list of things to get people and shortly thereafter began buying these things. It is now Thanksgiving and I am almost done Christmas shopping. I just need to get a couple more things for my parents and my work is finished. I even have a bunch of them wrapped already. Today, my Christmas tree went up. It's the same one that I bought in Germany, and I think it's the perfect size for our small apartment.

In other news, it was an exciting day because I got a coupon for 50% off one item at Borders. We were going into downtown Ann Arbor anyway, and so we stopped at Borders and I bought a cookbook. It's called Mediterranean Street Food and I'm really excited to try out some of the stuff in it. Mmm falafel and maqrud.

Stupify!

I got sick this weekend, but I feel pretty much normal now. Shortest cold ever. Nidhal is still sick and he has been sick for a couple weeks now.

I'm excited for Harry Potter! I wanted to see it tomorrow afternoon, but there won't be enough time for that, so hopefully on Monday or Tuesday next week I'll get to see it.

Classes are coming along. My one class is almost basically over. The other class still has some major stuff with it, but I feel like I've gotten past the worst part of it all.

I need a new phone desperately. The one I have now will not hold a charge at all. Five minutes on the phone and it's dead. As mush as I want a Droid, I can not justify paying $15-$30 extra each month. I'll probably end up getting this new LG phone on Verizon with a 3.2 megapixel camera. That's really all I need, I guess.

And I feel accomplished right now because I just translated a German transcript into English. I miss German...

Busy, Busy, Busy

Nidhal and I did a hunter's safety thing 8 days ago. It was kind of fun. Meh. Nidhal talked me into it.

I've been so busy lately. Stupid classes. Stupid stupid stupid.

Nidhal has been sick for a while now, and it looks like I've gotten it, too.

I can't wait until the end of this semester. I can't wait until Wednesday night. I can't wait until today at 5pm. Next semester should be good. This semester is rough.
