I was home for Easter. It was nice to see people. It took me exactly 2 hours and 4 minutes to go from my driveway to my parking spot at my apartment. That is an average of almost 75 mph.

So today I was sitting in the fishbowl (computing place in Angell Hall) and the guy across from me kept sticking his feet in my area. One time his feet landed on top of mine and my feet objected. During this objection of the feet, I muttered "get off of my feet" and then the guy said "sorry". And I was thinking 'crap, did he hear me? or was he just saying sorry for dirtying my shoes?' I didn't think I had said it loud enough for anyone to hear, but his sorry didn't sound loud either. And then after a few minutes he left and said jokingly that we no longer had to play footsie. And that was my exciting and interesting experience of the day.

The graduate students' union is planning to strike tomorrow. I don't want to have to go to class because I need to write my paper that I should be doing right now instead of writing this blog. I have over 1500 words. I'm over halfway there.

Where am I?

So I was planning to go home this weekend, but then I decided not to. Oh well. Next weekend.

Like usual, nothing interesting has been happening. I've been spending my time going to class, going to my very part-time job, watching JAG and Friends, and reading Harry Potter in German. There is also some homework somewhere in there.

The weather was beautiful today. Warm, sunny, beautiful. Spring is a great season.

I like to sleep. I wonder how many times I've written that in this blog of mine.

Yesterday, I cleaned all of the knives in the drawer because every single one was disgusting. I could have just kept using my secret stash (which consists of silverware that belongs to me), but I decided to do my part and clean their knives.

I have a large paper due in a couple weeks. I should probably start on that.

Nicht Egal

It's another weekend. I wish I were in Germany. The flight back was even more empty than the flight there. I watched Enchanted, August Rush, Becoming Jane, and Juno. Enchanted wasn't as good as I had hoped. August Rush was better than I had expected. No one ever said that it was an Oliver Twist story. Beoming Jane almost put me to sleep, and Juno was fairly entertaining. The food on the flight was the same food that I had on a different flight. At least it wasn't bad.

I'm still debating about which books to get with my $50 gift card to Borders. I have a list, but none seem good enough when I actually get down to it.

And there's really not much to say. I wish I were in Germany.
